calls for medico-legal code of practice medical report-writing, is calling for a national code of practice to eliminate rogue operators from the industry.

Swift has called for the code due to the proliferation of medico-legal companies which has reached unprecedented levels.

At present the industry is self-regulating but some companies are trading with no training, expertise or professional credentials, according to Swift.

Swift Medical Services already has its own code of practice in place but would welcome the chance to help draft a set of national guidelines with other leading medico-legal organisations.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
