Online insurer swiftcover.com has decided to donate £1 from every new motor insurance policy sold, to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and sister organisation in Scotland, CHILDREN 1ST.
The donations will be used to help the charities' crucial programmes – including the NSPCC's Full Stop campaign and CHILDREN 1ST's Mairi Campaign, which involve service provision, lobbying, campaigning and public education.
Both charities aim to put a stop to cruelty to children.
Andrew Blowers, chief executive of swiftcover.com said: “We are happy to be in a position to help, both by raising awareness of this essential work on our website and with practical financial assistance”
Swiftcover.com said it intends its partnership with the NSPCC to be long term.
