Swiss Re Life & Health has signed a ten-year business process outsourcing deal with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
Under the outsourcing deal, CSC will provide life and health insurance policy processing for Swiss Re in the US. The deal will also extend to the UK following Swiss Re's acquisition of Zurich Life's closed book of UK business.
CSC said the deal was worth an estimated US$700m over the term of the arrangement.
It said the new arrangement extended an outsourcing relationship between the two companies, which began in 1995.
