Five former employees of failed personal injury firm The Accident Group are planning to confront the company's founder at Marbella on the Costa del Sol where he has a £3m home with a £2.5m yacht moored nearby.

The employees, some of whom were sacked by text message, hope to persuade Mark Langford, 39, to pay at least his 2,500 staff their final month's salary, The Daily Telegraph has reported.

They will also be seeking answers to questions concerning the run-up to TAG's sudden collapse in May.

Mr Langford, whose fortune is estimated at £40m, founded the firm 10 years ago.

A meeting of creditors earlier this month heard that former employees were unlikely to receive any money from the sale of TAG's assets.

More than 1,000 ex-employees have signed up to a joint action seeking compensation.
