The Claim Control Consultants team is slightly lighter this afternoon after a crew member was forced to retire.
After a strong start to the Insurance Times Regatta, the team was forced to return to port after crew hand Kate Somerville found the conditions tough-going.
She said: "It was choppier than I expected and once we got out to sea I started feeling light-headed.
"I have never sailed before and to be honest it was a lot tougher than I imagined."
She added that the rest of the crew were in high spirits and that they were in contention for a strong finish.
"The guys have been doing really well this morning and they were in a great position. The skipper thinks they should still be in with a shout come Thursday afternoon."
The day's racing is nearly finished with all 22 boats still in contention for first place.
