A US working group is investigating the availability and affordability of terrorism insurance.
The investigation by the President's Working Group on Financial Markets comes as a result of the recently passed Terrorism Risk Insurance Extension Act.
The working group has to present its findings to Congress by 30 September 2006.
Among the matters under consideration are terrorism risk insurance coverage for group life insurance and chemical, nuclear, biological and radiological attacks.
