Atrium Underwriting has announced the appointment of Bernard de Haldevang as political risk and terrorism underwriter on Syndicate 609.
De Haldevang was previously the founding chief executive of the African Trade Insurance Agency, a World Bank and EU initiative to facilitate trade and investment into and among the world's poorest countries.
Prior to this he worked at Lloyd's for 18 years as a specialist in political risk.
