THB Group has launched a risk managed haulage combined product, underwritten by ACE Insurance.
Called Freightshield, the product is aimed at small to medium sized haulage contractors.
THB said Freightshield offers a simple, one package policy for all covers, as well as risk management reviews and commission rates.
It said the product was aimed at brokers placing business for companies paying between £200,000 and £500,000 in premiums for property, goods in transit, liability and personal accident cover.
THB development director Glen McCully, said: “The haulage market has been short of capacity for some time and we are delighted that ACE has agreed to work with us to offer this exciting new product, with risk management being at the heart of the proposition.”
