Wholesale broker THB Group announced today it has decided to outsource its marketing activities, leaving the in-house team facing an uncertain future.

Janis Gibson, previously head of group marketing, has left THB “to pursue alternative options,” the company said.

The group's niche Lloyd's broker business, Thompson Heath & Bond, has just finalised a lease on 18,000 sq ft of office space in Leadenhall Street, London.

Commenting on the move, Frank Murphy, managing director of Thompson Heath & Bond, said “This is a major investment and confirms our total commitment to Lloyd's and the London market.

“We want to be closer to our underwriters and ensure that our ambition to attract and retain the best people is supported by the best infrastructure and location.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
