The Insurance Workplace (TIW) has secured a major deal with a Lloyd's broker.

SBJ has employed TIW to help with the transfer to electronic claims files (ECF).

Dan Webster, business systems manager at SBJ, commented: “We selected TIW on the basis of its advanced functionality and access controls to allow us to connect seamlessly to the ECF repository. Now that we have the service we can expand it to other areas of our business, collaborating with clients, underwriters and third parties on placements, binders and others services. SBJ are one of the leading brokers in the market and we wanted to be seen to be supporting the ECF initiative while enhancing our claims service and processing operation.”

David Edwards, managing director of TIW, said: “We are very proud to have SBJ as a client and to be part of the ECF community through our on line repository. TIW offers a system with the ability to fully collaborate on claims with clients and underwriters.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
