The QBE Fantasy Football Manager of the Month for December is Matthew Sims, who has worked magic with his team Merlin's Marvels.
In common with many of our top managers, Sims has an eye for unsung heroes as well as established stars.
Cristiano Ronaldo would be on many managers' team sheets, but how many of you had Pompey centre-back Linvoy Primus in your first teams? Primus hadn't scored for two years, but his brace against West Ham on Boxing Day lifted Merlin's Marvels clear of the competition.
Sims was delighted to receive the trophy, magnum of champagne and, of course, the acclaim of his peers. And he's still in the running for QBE's £50K prize at the end of the season.
