Consultancy Tillinghast-Towers Perrin has estimated that the total insured loss for the World Trade Center tragedy will be between $30bn (£20.4bn) and $58bn (£39.4bn).

The company has broken that figure into different lines of insurance:
Workers compensation – $3bn to $5bn
Aviation – $3bn to $6bn
Commercial Property – $10bn to $12bn
Life, AD&D – $4.5bn to $6bn
Liability – $5bn to $20bn
Business Interruption – $3.5bn to $7bn
Other – $1bn to $2bn
Total $30bn to $58bn.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
