Towergate Underwriting has launched a business service designed to help intermediaries and provide a range of insurance services for all types of medical professionals.
It said Towergate Caring Professions was a new division of its Medical Insurance Agency, which has more than 90 years' experience in underwriting surgery, locum, professional indemnity and personal insurance for doctors, dentists and vets.
Towergate described the decision to extend these products to its intermediaries as a ‘natural step'.
Towergate Caring Professions will arrange products for medical, general practice and complementary therapists, dental and veterinary professionals and charities, including hospices.
Group communications director Paul Dyer said: “Towergate's focus continues to be specialist and niche lines to support our intermediary partners. Towergate Caring Professions is a natural extension of our existing expertise in the area of Medical Professionals.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
