Mike Foster has been promoted to the position of claims director at TT Club.
Foster was previously the head of the transport insurance provider's UK and Irish business unit.
Colin Lewin, TT Club's chief operating officer, commented: “In our reshaped management structure the claims director is responsible for global claims policy and achievement of our claims performance indicators. While TT's regional claims offices will continue to handle all member's claims at a local level, Mike will lead the formulation and overall execution of claims policy within an effective and efficient control environment.
“Mike's years in the industry and deep understanding of the insurance needs of our members make him well qualified to take on this demanding role.”
In his new role, Foster will take responsibility for claims policy, claims controls, continuing professional training, development of claims executives and implementing major incident response capabilities.
