Partnership will provide Protection and indemnity cover for yachts
URSL to underwrite P&I for British Marine
Underwriting Risk Services (URSL), the specialist worldwide multi-line underwriting agency is to provide Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Insurance in an exclusive arrangement with British Marine (Luxembourg), part of the Q.B.E. Group.
The agreement will enable URSL to offer full P&I limits and coverage. This new policy, when combined with our crew, personal accident and medical benefits cover, will provide owners with comprehensive coverage.
Nicholas Hales, URSL's Managing Director, commented: “This is an exciting new offering being made available to the clients of URSL, in that we are now able to offer all the critical elements of coverage required by a navigating yacht anywhere around the globe. We are delighted to be able to make the cover available in collaboration with British Marine, and very pleased that British Marine have selected URSL as their partner.”
In a separate development, URSL announces the "go-live" of Yachtsure24, a technical support, accident and response service, which will provide support to URSL clients who insure vessels greater than 24 metres in length.
