The dismissal of Julian Taylor from Marsh last week left some Lloyd's and London market brokers misty-eyed.
Many in the market, roughly 150, have fond memories of the affable partygoer and his stag-do a few years ago. It seems Taylor invited two 'friends' on stage and decided to show them the kind of commission he was willing to offer for volume work.
