R&SA subsidence claims

Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) said it would transfer the handling of subsidence claims to two specialist subsidence management companies, InFront Innovation (IFI) and Crawford & Co. The changes will result in around 30 roles being transferred to IFI from R&SA.

FSA ICOB proposals

The FSA published a consultation paper proposing to reform the rules firms need to follow when carrying out general insurance business with their customers. The regulator said that for general insurance business, such as household, motor or pet policies, this would means moving to principles and high-level rules, except where detailed provisions are required by EU Directives. The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
