Moorhouse praises portal

Welsh broker Moorhouse claimed its Xbroker is now the most widely used portal among UK brokers. Moorhouse boss Lyndon Wood said Xbroker had 3,800 brokers signed up and that it would attract 30,000 new policy-holders in the next year. He said the portal was getting 6,500 commercial quotations a month.

Brit rated A+ for financial strength

Fitch Ratings affirmed Brit Insurance's insurer financial strength rating at ‘A+’. The outlook remains stable.

The FSA issued two publications to support the delivery of the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative. The first looks at firms' culture regarding TCF. The second is designed to help firms develop and use management information to demonstrate their progress on TCF.
