London-based wholesale insurer Price Forbes has announced the formation of operations in Bermuda, with Alan Waring appointed as chief executive.
The new company will form part of the larger wholesale group, comprising Crump and Victor O Schinnerer in the US, Encon in Canada, and Price Forbes in the UK.
Group president and chief executive Jeremy Cook, said: “The world's largest retail broking community exists in North America and will greatly benefit from more efficient, effective access to the Bermuda markets.
“Our new Bermuda operation, working with its group partners, will fulfill this mission.”
Waring joins Price Forbes from Arthur J Gallagher, where he was executive vice president of Arthur J Gallagher Intermediaries, Bermuda.
