Wills is set to become Ireland's largest premier insurance broker
Willis Holdings is set to become Ireland's largest premier insurance broker after acquiring a 56% shareholding in Coyle Hamilton.
Ireland's largest privately owned insurance broker, Coyle Hamilton, has an annualized revenue of approximately $60m.
Willis will take control of the remaining interests in 2007 and 2009.
With offices in Dublin, Cork, Limmerick, Belfast and London, it will make Wills the largest broker in the Republic of Ireland.
The new enterprise, which will lead the way in all sectors of the market, is to be known as Coyle Hamilton Willis.
Plans are underway to integrate Willis's existing business in the Republic of Ireland within Coyle Hamilton Willis.
The businesses of Coyle Hamilton will be integrated with the businesses of Willis in those markets.
