Willis has landed three major contracts off its main rival brokers, Insurance Times can reveal.

The global broker won the Land Securities commercial property contract from JLT, but JLT has retained the real estate firm’s construction and captive management programme.

Land Securities is a FTSE 100 company and the largest real estate investment trust in the UK based on market capitalisation.

Willis also took the Drax Power Station contract off competitor Marsh, and has secured the contract with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

Meanwhile, Marsh has won the DS Smith contract from Willis. Global firm DS Smith supplies recycled packaging for consumer goods.

The terms of the deals have not been disclosed.

A Marsh spokesman confirmed that Marsh had lost the Drax contract to Willis.

Willis and JLT declined to comment.
