Willis has agreed to acquire UK-based broker Opus from Bridgepoint Capital.
Opus, a regional insurance broking and group benefits consultancy business, has annual general insurance and group benefits revenues of £13m.
When the deal is completed Willis UK & Ireland commercial division will merge with Opus, the company said.
Willis said the Opus' IFA business is not part of the deal for regulatory reasons.
