Willis has won the Financial Sector Technology Award 2002 for best use of IT in insurance.
Willis won the award for its iFM platform for reinsurance buyers. The web-based system allows client data to be modelled against a variety of reinsurance schedules, reducing turnaround times for analysis from two weeks to five minutes in some cases, it is claimed.
