Broker Windsor posts a 26% rise in pre-tax profits to £2,425,000 in 2000.

Much of the growth came from the protection and indemnity, commercial and professional indemnity operations.

The board is recommending a dividend payment of 1.1p per share (up from 1999's 0.9p per share) payable on April 9, 2001.

“We are delighted with the progress of Insurethelot, our extranet for independent insurance brokers. It will be of value to the many independent insurance professionals who do not have the support of a large back-office infrastructure,” said chairman David Low.

“The technology is being developed and exhaustively tested, with the first phase of marketing due to start shortly. The capital structure and future funding of the venture continues to be kept under review and a decision on these matters will be taken at the appropriate time.”


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
