Winchester Insurance Systems' 2001 results showed turnover was up by 91% to £3.25m, with a profit of £75,000.

Managing Director Ray Vincent said: "These results make WISL the fastest growing solutions provider in the insurance sector. I think we can be very proud of this achievement given the prevailing market conditions for technology companies."

He added: "The extremely positive results have arisen from a combination of new sales and repeat business from our existing Transactor user base."

WISL launched two new systems in December 2001 - Transactor Common Application Support (CAS) and the Transactor Enterprise Solution (TES). Future growth will be based on marketing these solutions which already have advance orders worth £3m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
