X-changing Ins-sure Service is re-launching its fee payment collection service in a bid to cut administration costs.
Expert fees service manager David Gosden said: "Our analysis of fee payment performance reveals that 60% of experts' fees (including disbursements) are not paid or are only partially paid, after 12months of submission to their clients in the London Market.
"We estimate this equates to about £180million worth of significantly delayed payments in the market today."
