Lloyd's and London Market software giant Xchanging and Rebus iS are at a crucial stage in discussions over a possible merger plan. The deal should be announced imminently.
It is understood from sources that both companies had hoped to broker a deal before the Xchanging conference last week. But final negotiations took longer than expected.
