XL Insurance Company Ltd (XLICL) has been given permission to carry out insurance activities in Poland.
XLICL received permission from the Polish insurance regulatory supervisory body KNUiFE, and, following formal registration by the National Court of Poland, will be licensed to establish insurance operations in the country.
The Polish branch, located in Warsaw, will offer coverage and services to the Polish operations of multinational clients. XLICL Country Manager Mariusz Ejsmont will lead the branch.
XL insurance operations chief executive Clive Tobin said: “The new branch reflects the continued development of our European insurance network.”
