Yorkshire Bank has launched a one-stop service to help clients find the best car insurance deal without completing numerous forms.

A survey by the bank found that one in six people were confused by the paperwork required for getting a car insurance quote.

The bank decided to ease the process by getting its motor insurance team to look for quotes on its customers' behalf, after obtaining their details from a phone call.

Geoff Greer, head of Yorkshire Bank, said: "Many people just don't have the time to shop around for the best price or package that will be the most use to them."
