Zenith has made its motorcycle policy available with full-cycle EDI on the Misys Biker Writer quotation engine.
The decision means it has become the first insurer to go live with Misys with each of its personal lines.
Misys general insurance commercial director Mark Ryder said: "Zenith is certainly one of the most forward thinking insurers in terms of technology.
"This latest investment will support its future growth strategy and means it is currently the only insurer to be able to write all business across Motor Writer, Home Writer, Truck Writer and Bike Writer, without the use of manual quotation products."
Zenith director of underwriting and distribution Jonathan Powell said: "The use of full cycle EDI is a key component that has enabled us to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. The speed and accuracy of information capture has significantly improved the service we provide to both our brokers and our policyholders."
