Zurich Financial Services has moved into the Indian market in a joint venture with three local financial organisations.
It will hold a 26% stake in life and general insurance joint ventures with DCM Sriram Consolidated, which will hold 33.5%, Punjab National Bank, which will hold 26%, and Vijaya Bank, which will hold 12.5%.
The partners will sign agreements before seeking regulatory approval.
