Small fleet operators can now buy vehicle insurance tailored more closely to their own requirements with a new scheme by AA Business Services and Zurich Insurance.
The pilot scheme is currently open to small fleets of between three and six cars, which already have AA breakdown cover. The scheme¹s advantage is that a claim is processed with one telephone call.
"We are offering to take away the logistical burden that small firms often face in the event of an accident," said Adrian Waters, general manager of AA Business Sales. "With one phone call the damaged vehicle is taken to one of
our network of approved repair experts with agreed labour charges and a courtesy car to keep the business moving. Meanwhile the claim - including statements and third party details - is processed simultaneously from that same call by Zurich Insurance."
