Zurich said to bid for L%G. AXA rumoured to bid for Aviva

Swiss insurer Zurich is rumoured to be preparing a takeover of Legal & General and French insurer AXA might bid for Aviva, The Telegraph reports.

Legal & General shares rose 2 to 93¼p and Aviva’s were up 19.4 to 397.3p.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
