Zurich London has announced the appointment of Robert Wood as its Head of Media, Sports & Leisure Insurance.
Wood will be responsible for developing traditional business founded on appropriate risk terms, as Zurich launches into contingency insurance.
Head of Specialities Glenn Burles said: "I'm delighted that Robert Wood has joined Zurich London. Robert will focus on developing a broad portfolio to take advantage of a market worth $4m.
"Using Zurich's position as a major insurer with an excellent reputation in combination with Robert's underwriting experience I believe we will become a leading player in this market."
