Zurich's high net worth division, Private Clients, is to open a new London office on Thursday.
The newly created team will focus on business development in the London area.
City manager Nick Brabham said: "The decision to have a London presence was in response to feedback we received from brokers and demonstrates the business opportunities available in the region.
"We are seeking to intensify the level of personal support we currently provide to brokers in the region, assisting them with their demanding High Net Worth portfolios."
