Zurich Professional has said its decision to open up early for solicitors' professional indemnity quotes has been justified by the level of response.
The insurer claimed that it has already quoted for 15% of the solicitor firms in England & Wales.
David Coughlan, head of Zurich Professional, said: "It's clear to us that solicitors appreciate being able to renew early because it means that they have peace of mind regarding their insurance in a market where premiums are rising."
