Fitch Ratings has confirmed the Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) group ratings, which it said had been “partially offset” as a result of the risk created by the New York attorney general's investigation and the group's “continued reserve deterioration”.
Zurich Insurance Company was issued an insurer financial strength (IFS) rating of 'A'; the long-term was affirmed as 'A-'.
The ratings agency said the outlook remained positive.
