Zurich Re began to trade under the brand name Converium as Insurance Times went to press on Tuesday (October 9).
The company said the Zurich Re name would disappear and all its offices would be adopting the Converium brand on a worldwide scale.
In announcing its new image, the company said the first phase of its establishment had been completed.
Converium is the new brand for the third-party assumed reinsurance business of Zurich Financial Services (ZFS). Ultimately, Converium is to demerge from ZFS.
