Broker taps Jelf and Assent for new hires

Broking group Heath Lambert has made a series of hires and promotions to its project risk unit.

Following Bob Wallace's decision to retire on 16 December, Sarah Bickerstaff has been promoted to executive director of the division. She will be responsible for managing the UK construction and project teams.

Jason Stephens is to be promoted to Director and John Osborne will be responsible for client management. The team has also hired Daniel Griffen and Matthew Lander as account handlers. Griffen previously worked at Assent, while Lander joins from Jelf Group.

Finally, Heath Lambert has promoted Barry Lidford to the position of director. He wil focus on major projects such as Crossrail and Forth River Crossing, and further developing Heath Lambert’s public sector advisory business.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
