Customers can notify claims and pay for policies by phone
Insurance system company DRC (Decision Research Corporation) has launched an iPhone app that it claims can be integrated with any policy administration, billing or claims system.
It says insurance customers can be notified of upcoming payments, pay bills, download insurance identification cards, report claims and file endorsements with attachments.
Insurers using DecisionMakerMobile can add their own company branding and distribute the app to their customers through the iTunes store. It can also be used through the iPad for claims adjuster entry and quoting of amendments, endorsements or new business.
DRC will also be releasing a version for the Android mobile phone platform before the end of the year.
