Jobs cut in claims team

Manchester Cathedral

Stockport-based Aim Legal Expenses Insurance Services has made six redundancies from its claims team as part of a business review.

As part of the review, Aim managing director Graham Pulford said the firm was setting up four divisions:

  • Aim CoreProtect for the insurance industry;
  • Aim Incident Management for claims management;
  • Aim LegalServices for the legal sector; and
  • Aim OnTheRoad for the motor industry.

Pulford said: “It’s never great having to make this sort of decision and it’s a sad but inevitable consequence of necessary changes to our business model and improved automation streamlining our claims management process. As a result sadly some roles have become redundant.”

Aim is also moving to a new office in Stockport next month.
