Website is a first for the insurance industry
AXA has launched a travel insurance website for Lloyds TSB Added Value Accounts customers.
The new website, claimed to be the first of its kind, provides users with information about their policy cover and allows them to manage their policies online. Customers can change policy details, adjust the cover they receive, make claims and complete medical screening over the internet.
AXA Direct & Partnerships managing director of partnerships Kirsty Walker said: “With one in five adults in the UK owning a packaged bank account it’s essential that we, as an industry, help to make the management of these accounts as easy and transparent as possible. This website has been developed through working very closely with our partner Lloyds TSB and with the customer always in mind. We are proud to have further enhanced the customer journey by creating a smooth, intuitive and straightforward user experience.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
