Brazilian court’s $1.6m compensation ruling challenged

Air France's insurer AXA is to appeal a Brazilian court ruling ordering the airline to pay $1.16m in compensation to the family of a victim, as the decision had been made outside a committee set up to decide on compensation, Reuters reports.

The search for the wreckage and black boxes of will resume on 25 March, newspaper Le Figaro said.
