Trade body also picks up award for best event
Biba has been named Trade Association of the Year for the second time in five years.
The award was picked up at the Trade Association Forum’s Best Practice Awards.
Biba also won the Best Event of the Year Award for its Journalist of the Year Awards, at which five Insurance Times journalists picked up awards.
Trade Association general manager Linda Cavender said: “Biba richly deserves the Trade Association Forum’s Trade Association of the Year Award. They always do well in our awards and have once again demonstrated a huge range of excellent activities on behalf of their members this year that other membership bodies can learn from – our congratulations to them.”
Biba chief executive Steve White said: “The award is testament to the accomplishments and dedication of the Biba team, and the important role of Biba’s Manifesto, which received special recognition at the awards.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
