Covéa soared up the e-trading rankings table from last year, moving from a lowly 14th spot in 2015 to third place in this year’s E-Trading Broker Insight 2016 report.

Covéa’s impressive performance is evidence that its e-trading proposition has taken a huge turn for the better in the past year.

In the net promoter score verbatim, one small independent broker summed it up by saying: “Good underwriting team behind the e-trade, great pricing and easy to use.”

AIG, a new entrant to the survey, made an impressive entry at fourth place out of 15 insurers benchmarked.

One small independent broker praised AIG’s “good products and ease of use”.

Another high performer was IPrism, which moved up from 6 to 2.

Zurich remained bottom of the table, with its rating deteriorating from 3.26 out of 5 to 3.12 out of 5.
