Health & Case Management and Link Insurance have announced their partnership on a new rehabilitation solution aimed at individuals who have sustained a minor musculoskeletal injury.
The companies said results from the programme have so far demonstrated a dramatic impact on recovery times and a reduction in the total average cost of these case types.
Helen Merfield, HCML's chief executive said: "We must be patient and analyse the full results before making a final conclusion but the current trend in improving recovery rates and reducing general costs is unmistakable."
Final results of the acute injury management pilot will be published during May 2006.
