Integro wants to strengthen its offering in entertainment sector with Stonehouse Conseillers acquisition

US broker and risk management firm Integro has bought specialist film production and advertising broker Stonehouse Conseillers.

Integro president and chief operating officer Bill Goldstein said the acquisition demonstrated its continued commitment to broking for clients in the film sector.

The firm has also expanded its entertainment practice with the acquisitions of Frost Specialty, Allan Chapman James, Doodson Broking Group and Multimedia Risk.

Goldstein said: “Entertainment is a key niche area for Integro and this acquisition demonstrates our continued commitment to becoming the broker of choice for clients who work in this sector.”

The current Stonehouse management team, led by directors Mark Good and Tony Wall, will remain in place and will work with other Integro entertainment specialists.

Good said: “Becoming part of Integro’s global entertainment practice is a positive development for Stonehouse’s clients and staff. It increases our access to Lloyd’s and other key insurance markets in the UK and USA, plus it allows us to develop existing insurance programmes for key clients.

“The combined forces of the group will deliver greater market presence and a platform from which we can progress the scope of our broking services within the UK and internationally.”
