In a night of exhilarating football, Insurance Times has triumphantly walked away with the coveted Ocaso

Challenge Cup after demolishing the opposition in three hard-fought games.

A scratch team, captained by supplements manager Rob Price, took the tournament by surprise with a devastating display of spirit and effort combined with some sublime moments of individual brilliance.

Towergate/Strovers, Ocaso and Jardine Lloyd Thompson were felled one by one with scorelines that are usually the lot of a cricket opening batsman: 9-2, 10-2 and 10-1. Graham Kitteridge, Ocaso general manager SA UK, presented the trophy to Insurance Times.

“The event was a fantastic success and was enjoyed by everyone,” he said. “The level of football was also of a high standard and we are looking forward to hosting the event again next year.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
