Webley was responsible for business development of the portfolio book at Oak
Sterling Insurance has hired Mike Webley as regional development underwriter for its Birmingham branch.
Webley has 14 years’ experience in the insurance industry and joins from Oak Underwriting where he was portfolio team leader.
While at Oak Webley held a number of roles, including high net worth (HNW) household and portfolio underwriter, and prior to that he spent five years with A Plan Insurance.
Sterling Birmingham branch manager Kirk Peattie said: “I am delighted to welcome Mike to the team and to Sterling. His proven track record for business development and his underwriting expertise in HNW will be a real asset to Sterling and in developing our regional presence.”
On his appointment Webley added: “Sterling is a great company and has such a strong reputation amongst brokers for its quality products and service.
