Mondial is widening its healthcare portfolio by launching a personal accident solution in the UK.
The company said the expansion was in response to opportunities to offer financial security combined with rehabilitation and assistance within the home or at work.
Mondial will give the option of a lump sum cash payment with rehabilitation and assistance tailored to the specific requirements of the individual.
Mondial said it will ensure that all healthcare and home help requirements are addressed, from home help, laundry and shopping to home and vehicle modifications.
Steve Hook, director of corporate and travel at Mondial UK, added: “We have made it available to people of any age, not restricted to the over 60's, and given it a greater degree of flexibility to ensure it provides the relevant support for an individual either at home or work.”
Working under delegated authority, the product will be underwritten by Allianz Cornhill.
Initially, it will be offered to Mondial's existing client base and extended to those companies looking to introduce or supplement its employee flexible benefits programme.
